The Beach is the best
Not Leo’s silly movie, but Flash on the Beach 2006.
I got many interesting contacts, talked to many interesting people and in particular told Branden Hall, that his ancient Flash 5 add-ons (including string.as) is still in use in some of our old Flash 5 projects still being updated.
And the whole thing got me started on using ActionScript 3. I will post a guide to getting started with ActionScript 3 tools in FlashDevelop using FlexUnit for Unit testing. :)
Besides, I didn’t just go to Brighton for Flash on the Beach. Actually I went with my company, TBWA\Play, to London Thursday for a BrainCamp at TBWA\London’s offices. And then we had the whole weekend in London me and my two colleagues (Morten Reinholdt and Henrik Hahn), where we attended the very classy night club, Mahiki, which was great fun.
